You absolutely need carbohydrates for the body, but if you do not have intensive physical exertion, the required number of carbohydrates is not too bad.
For example, with average physical exertion you can simply replace a bread meal with, for example, a dairy product such as yogurt with a few pieces of fruit.
Or take a cup of homemade chicken soup, possibly supplemented with fresh vegetables. A boiled egg (not hard-boiled) is also good and tasty.
